During a recent visit to South Africa, Peter Stevenson met with members of the IPMSC's Standard Setting Committee SCC) to continue to development of globally recognized measurement standards. Sponsored by the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA), the Standards Setting Committee met for a week to continue vigorous debate and work on developing the Retail standard.
In helping to share with the SCC the local property conditions, SAPOA arranged for the committee to visit a selection of diverse retail locations in Johannesburg including Sandton City Center and the Metro Market Taxi and Bus Terminal located in the central business district of Johannesburg.
